RightHear was selected as one of nine finalist companies crowned Prize Winners of the 2021 MassChallenge Israel Accelerator Program! As a prize winner, we are granted an all-expenses-paid roadshow in Boston and New York in Fall 2021 to showcase our company and mission, in addition to an opportunity to network with talented individuals as we expand our accessibility audible wayfinding technology to the United States market.
From the very first day, our team was excited to take part and compete in MassChallenge Israel. When we first joined the cohort, we were one of 42 companies selected out of a pool of nearly 400 Israeli companies and other businesses from 30 countries across the world. This was a great recognition of our growth and accessibility impact mission. The rigorous selection process consisted of panels made up of leading experts from over 20 Israeli and global organizations, including JPMorgan Chase, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Kimberly-Clark, Cisco, Via, IAI-ELTA, Verizon Ventures, and IBM.
MassChallenge Israel ran from April to July 2021 and served as a program to help prepare entrepreneurs and start-up companies, like ourselves, to advance social impact through mentorship, education, connections and introductions to partners, experts and investors within the MassChallenge Israeli and global network. MassChallenge Israel helped our team connect with a strong informational network and collaborative setting to promote greater innovation and company growth. Our team gained insightful business advice and training, and we are very appreciative to have been able to expand our market vision and continue growing RightHear.
The MassChallenge Jerusalem finalist event consisted of companies all around Israel coming together to partake in an evening full of networking and awards. The event kick-started with businesses organizing informational booths to display products and show what each company was all about. We had an amazing opportunity being able to learn about other Israeli startups and value the positive feedback we received about RightHear. Then, MassChallenge finalists were invited to the stage to begin the awards ceremony. We were overjoyed to hear ‘RightHear’ called as a prize winner and this helped our team validate our work and efforts. The roadshow in Boston and New York will be a terrific platform to continue to expand our RightHear mission and outreach to create more accessible spaces for our visually impaired community.
“We came here to network, and we ended up with a lot more” saying Idan Meir, RightHear’s CEO. “winning this prize and receiving this honored recognition by the startup ecosystem is exciting and another proof that we are on the right track”.
